1. INTRODUCTION
Welcome to Sango. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Sango mobile application (“App”). Sango is a simple connection platform designed to facilitate introductions between users seeking or offering transportation services.
Our platform allows:

Vehicle Owners (including owners of cars, bikes, lorries, trucks, tippers, tractors, and heavy machinery) to list their vehicles and provide contact information.

Users seeking services (including ride-hailing, ride-sharing, rentals, or haulage) to find and connect with Vehicle Owners.
By accessing or using Sango, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. DEFINITIONS

“Sango,” “we,” “us,” “our” : The operator of the connection platform.

“User,” “you,” “your” : Anyone accessing the App, whether as a guest, a registered Vehicle Owner, or a Service Seeker.

“Vehicle Owner/Provider” : A user who lists a vehicle on the App to advertise their availability for transportation services, rentals, or haulage.

“Service Seeker” : A user looking for transportation, a vehicle to rent, or goods to be moved.
-
“Connection” : The act of Sango facilitating an introduction between a Vehicle Owner and a Service Seeker via the contact information provided in a listing.
-
“Arrangement” : Any agreement, transaction, or interaction between Users after they have been connected through the App.
3. PLATFORM NATURE – PURE CONNECTION SERVICE (CRITICAL DISCLAIMER)
Sango is strictly a technology and connection platform. We are NOT a party to any arrangement between Users.
You acknowledge and agree that:

Sango’s sole function is to host listings and allow Users to find and contact each other.

We do not own, operate, or manage any vehicles.
-
We are not a transportation carrier, a rental company, a broker, an agent, or a logistics provider.

We do not employ, endorse, or screen any Vehicle Owners or Service Seekers.
-
All arrangements, agreements, transactions, and interactions that occur after a connection is made are solely between the Users themselves.

Sango is not involved in any way in the negotiations, agreement, performance, or payment of any transaction between Users.
-
Users do not pay Sango any fees for bookings, rides, or rentals. We do not process payments on behalf of any User.
4. NO SCREENING, ENDORSEMENT, OR RESPONSIBILITY
Critical Acknowledgment: Sango does not screen or verify the identity, background, credentials, licenses, insurance, or quality of any User or vehicle. Any information provided in listings is self-reported by the Vehicle Owners.

We do not verify the accuracy, legality, or safety of any vehicle, service, or listing.

We are not responsible for the conduct of any User, whether online or offline.

Any interaction or arrangement you enter into with another User is done at your own risk.
We encourage you to take reasonable precautions before entering into any Arrangement, including verifying licenses, insurance, and the condition of any vehicle.
5. ELIGIBILITY AND REGISTRATION
To use the Service, you must:

Be at least 18 years old.

Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

Maintain the security of your account. Sango is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account information.
Vehicle Owners are solely responsible for ensuring they hold all necessary licenses, permits, and insurance required by law to operate their vehicle.
6. USER CONDUCT AND OBLIGATIONS
6.1 For All Users

You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose: to connect with others for legitimate transportation needs.

You agree not to use the App for any unlawful purpose.

You agree not to harass, abuse, or defraud another User.

You are solely responsible for your interactions with other Users. Sango is not a party to any dispute between Users but reserves the right to suspend accounts of those who violate these Terms.
6.2 For Vehicle Owners (Providers)

You represent that you own or have the legal authority to list the vehicle(s) on Sango.

You are solely responsible for the safety, maintenance, and roadworthiness of your vehicle.
-
You are solely responsible for setting your own terms, conditions, and pricing for any services you provide.
-
You agree to accurately represent your vehicle in your listing.
6.3 For Service Seekers (Riders/Passengers/Renters)

You agree to treat Vehicle Owners and their property with respect.
-
You are solely responsible for negotiating and agreeing to the terms of any transaction with a Vehicle Owner.

You are solely responsible for any payments or arrangements you make with a Vehicle Owner. Sango does not facilitate or guarantee any payment.
7. LISTINGS AND CONNECTIONS

Listings: Vehicle Owners can create listings that include details about their vehicle and contact information. Sango does not guarantee the accuracy of any listing.

Connections: When you contact a Vehicle Owner through the information provided in their listing, you have been “connected” by Sango. From that point forward, Sango has no further involvement.

Prohibited Conduct: You agree not to use the App to:

Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings.
-
Collect contact information for purposes of spamming or harassing other Users.
-
Attempt to bypass the intended connection function of the App.

8. PAYMENTS AND FEES

No Payment Processing: Sango does not process, collect, or facilitate any payments between Users. We are not a payment provider.

No Sango Fees: Currently, Sango does not charge Users any fees for listing vehicles or for connecting with other Users. We reserve the right to introduce fees in the future, but any such change will be communicated in advance.

User Transactions: Any exchange of money, goods, or services happens entirely outside of the Sango platform. Sango is not responsible for any financial transactions between Users.
9. RATINGS AND REVIEWS
If the App includes a ratings or reviews feature, you agree to provide honest feedback based on your genuine experience. Reviews are the opinion of the User and do not reflect the views of Sango. Sango reserves the right to remove reviews that are fraudulent, offensive, or violate these Terms.
10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Sango App, including its design, logo, code, and content, is owned by Sango and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or reproduce any part of the App without our written consent.
11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY (ESSENTIAL PROVISION)
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sango shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

(a) Your use of or inability to use the App.

(b) The content of listings, including any inaccurate, false, or misleading information provided by Users.

(c) Any Arrangement, transaction, or interaction between Users. This includes, but is not limited to, claims arising from:

Personal injury, death, or property damage.

Theft, loss, or damage to property.
-
Breach of contract, non-payment, or disputes over agreed terms.
-
The negligence, conduct, or actions of any Vehicle Owner or Service Seeker.

(d) Any disputes or claims between Users.
Because Sango is a pure connection service and is not involved in any User arrangements, our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be limited to [a nominal sum, e.g., 10 USD / 5,000 XAF] or the amount you paid to Sango in the last 12 months (if any), whichever is less.
12. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
The App and all information, content, and listings are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. Sango makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the operation or availability of the App, or the information, content, and materials included therein.
We expressly disclaim any and all warranties, whether express or implied, including:

The implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Any warranty that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Any warranty regarding the accuracy, reliability, or quality of any listing or User.
13. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sango, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising from:

(a) Your use of and access to the App.

(b) Your violation of any term of these Terms.

(c) Your violation of any third-party right, including any intellectual property, privacy, or contractual right.

(d) Any claim, dispute, or issue arising from your Arrangement or interaction with another User. This means you agree to cover Sango’s costs if someone sues us because of something related to your interaction with another User.
14. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Between You and Sango: If you have a dispute with Sango regarding these Terms or the App, you agree to first contact us informally to resolve the issue.
Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by the laws of [Your Country/State], without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Arbitration: Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of [Your Local Arbitration Association/Institution]. The arbitration shall take place in [Your City].
Disputes Between Users: Sango is not responsible for resolving disputes between Users. You agree to handle any disputes, claims, or controversies arising from your Arrangement directly with the other User(s).
15. TERMINATION
Sango may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation a breach of the Terms.
16. CHANGES TO TERMS
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
