VEHICLE LISTING GUIDELINES

How to List Your Vehicle on Our Platform

Follow these step-by-step instructions to successfully list your vehicle – whether it’s a car, motorcycle, taxi, trailer, tipper truck, or heavy machinery.

BEFORE YOU START

Required Information

Gather these details before beginning your listing:

• Vehicle name/model
• License plate number
• Year of manufacture
• Color
• Current mileage
• VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) – optional but recommended
• Service price/minimum rate
• Primary operating region and town/city
• Contact phone number(s)

Required Photos (MANDATORY)

You MUST take these photos using your phone’s camera:

1. Driver’s License – Clear photo of your valid driver’s license
2. License Plate on Vehicle – Photo showing the license plate clearly attached to the vehicle
3. Verification Selfie – A selfie with the vehicle in the background (must be taken with camera, gallery upload disabled)

Required Photos

• Featured Image – Main photo that represents your vehicle
• Gallery Images – Additional photos showing different angles and features

STEP-BY-STEP LISTING PROCESS

Step 1: Start Your Listing

• Tap the “Add New Vehicle” button
• You’ll see a form divided into logical sections

Step 2: Add Your Information

The platform automatically displays your:
• Name (from your account profile)
• Residence address

To update your information: Tap the edit icon next to your name to update your profile before listing.

Step 3: Upload Vehicle Photos

Featured Image (Required)
• Tap the image box to add your main vehicle photo
• Choose from gallery OR take a new photo
• This will be the cover image for your listing

Gallery Images (Required)
• Tap “Add Images” to upload multiple photos
• Show different angles: front, back, sides, interior, engine bay
• Maximum images determined by your storage

Step 4: Take Verification Photos (MANDATORY)

Important: All verification photos must be taken with your camera at the time of listing:

Driver’s License
• What to Include: Clear photo of your valid driver’s license
• Why It’s Required: Verify your identity and driving eligibility

License Plate on Vehicle
• What to Include: License plate clearly visible on your vehicle
• Why It’s Required: Confirm vehicle ownership and registration

Verification Selfie
• What to Include: Your face with the vehicle visible behind you
• Why It’s Required: Prove you have physical access to the vehicle

These photos are securely stored and used only for verification purposes.

Step 5: Enter Basic Information

Vehicle Details
• Vehicle Name (e.g., “Toyota Corolla,” “Mercedes-Benz Actros Truck”)
• Brand (select from dropdown menu)
• Condition (New/Like New/Good/Fair/For Parts)
• Primary Region of Operation (where you typically operate)
• Primary Town/City of Operation (e.g., Douala, Yaoundé)

Pricing & Contact
• Minimum Service Price – Your starting rate (in local currency)
• Phone Number – Primary contact number
• WhatsApp Number – For messaging (may be same as phone)

Vehicle Specifications
• License Plate Number – Official registration number
• Year of Manufacture
• Color
• Number of Seats (including driver)
• Fuel Type (Petrol/Diesel/Electric/Hybrid)
• Transmission (Manual/Automatic)

Step 6: Add Description (Optional)

Write a detailed description of your vehicle:
• Special features
• Recent maintenance or upgrades
• Any important notes for renters/buyers
• Operating hours or availability

Step 7: Additional Details (Optional)

VIN Number
• 17-character Vehicle Identification Number
• Found on dashboard or driver’s side door frame
• Helps verify vehicle history

Current Mileage
• Odometer reading in kilometers
• Be honest – this builds trust with customers

Step 8: Select Features & Amenities

Tap to select features your vehicle offers:

• Air Conditioning
• Bluetooth Connectivity
• GPS Navigation
• Backup Camera
• Heated Seats
• Sunroof
• USB Ports
• Android Auto/Apple CarPlay
• Cruise Control
• Lane Assist
• Parking Sensors

Select all that apply to make your listing more attractive.

Step 9: Review and Submit

  1. Double-check all information for accuracy

  2. Ensure all three verification photos are present

  3. Tap the “SUBMIT” button

  4. Wait while your photos upload (progress indicator shown)

  5. You’ll see a success message when complete

LISTING TIPS FOR SUCCESS

Photo Tips

• Good lighting – Take photos in daylight or well-lit areas
• Clean vehicle – Wash and detail before photographing
• Multiple angles – Show the vehicle from all sides
• Highlight features – Close-ups of special equipment for trucks/machinery

For Different Vehicle Types

Cars/SUVs
• Show interior, trunk space, engine bay

Motorcycles
• Include both sides, instrument cluster, tires

Taxis
• Mention any permits, operating license, cleanliness standards

Trucks/Tippers
• Show cargo area, lifting mechanism, dimensions

Trailers
• Include hitch type, capacity, dimensions, condition of floor/walls

Heavy Machinery
• Show hours of operation, attachments, service records

Pricing Strategy

• Research similar vehicles in your area
• Consider vehicle age, condition, and features
• Be competitive but fair
• You can adjust pricing later if needed

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER SUBMISSION

  1. Upload Process: Your photos are securely uploaded (progress shown)

  2. Listing Created: Vehicle appears on the platform

  3. User ID Updated: Your account is linked to the new listing

  4. Approval: Some categories may require admin verification

  5. Live: Your vehicle is visible to potential renters/buyers

IMPORTANT RULES

DO’s

✓ Provide accurate, truthful information
✓ Take fresh verification photos for each listing
✓ Update your listing if vehicle details change
✓ Respond promptly to inquiries
✓ Maintain your vehicle in the condition described

DON’Ts

✗ Don’t use old or edited verification photos
✗ Don’t list vehicles you don’t own or have permission to list
✗ Don’t provide false contact information
✗ Don’t upload inappropriate or unrelated images
✗ Don’t list prohibited items (see Terms of Service)

TROUBLESHOOTING

Issue: Can’t upload photos
Solution: Check internet connection, ensure photos aren’t too large

Issue: Form won’t submit
Solution: Verify all required fields are filled, including all 3 verification photos

Issue: Verification photos rejected
Solution: Ensure photos are clear, well-lit, and show required content

Issue: Need to edit listing
Solution: Go to “My Listings” in your account dashboard
